About Erin

Erin Davidoff is a passionate clinician with over 17 years experience treating adult patients with Speech Pathology issues. Erin is focused on personalising care for each patient's individual Speech Pathology journey while being firmly rooted in the use of evidence based practice and ongoing professional development. As an experienced clinician - Erin understands the impact and stress swallowing and communication issues can have on everyday life for patients and families. Erin is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Erin has had a varied career spanning over 17 years working in public hospitals as a Speech Pathologist such as St. Vincent's Hospital (Darlinghurst), Nepean Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital (Randwick) Gosford, Wyong and Lourdes Hospital (Dubbo). Erin has held positions such as District Clinical Lead Position in the areas of Ear Nose and Throat, Cancer Care, Intensive Care and Respiratory. Erin has also been a Team Leader of diverse speech pathology caseloads as well as coordinating inpatient and outpatient services over multiple hospital sites. Erin has years of experience with voice, irritable larynx including vocal cord dysfunction and chronic cough, adult swallowing and communication in neurological, geriatric, oncological, medical and surgical caseloads including Ear Nose and Throat and Neurosurgery.

During her extensive career in public health - Erin has participated in research, initiated and completed multiple patient focused improvement projects. Erin has also led multidisciplinary district wide teams in projects to enhance patient care in the Cancer Care and Laryngectomy caseloads. Erin has always been passionate about community education and support for speech pathology patients. During her career Erin has travelled around large areas and connected with health professionals of differing specialities in order to provide specialised knowledge and make networks of support for her Speech Pathology patients. Erin is excited to connect with patients, their families and other health professionals and continue to serve her community through Speech Pathology.  Erin has completed ACON training for Allied Health Professionals and welcomes all patients from our diverse community.

Erin values teaching within her profession and has supervised other Speech Pathologists and Student Speech Pathologists for over 10 years in the public health system. Erin is committed to the continuation of her own and others' learning and looks forward to collaborating in a community setting with other Speech Pathologists and members of the wider community as we and healthcare evolve over time.
